Sadly GBSEx 2008 is now over, but we're thrilled it went so well and that you all had such a good time!

Our sincere thanks to all those who volunteered to work at the event (and those we pressed into labour!), we really couldn't have done it without you and you were all fantastic! The Town Hall and staff were responsive, helpful and incredibly friendly to all our guests and the combination of the stunning venue and efficient staff made the organisation of the event so much easier on our team, thank you!

Last, but by no means least, we know that buying a ticket for a new event is a risk and hope that your faith in us paid off. Thank you so much for choosing us and if you enjoyed it, tell everyone you know and come back next year for an even bigger and better GBSEx!

Feedback

Thank you to those of you who used our feedback system to review the experiences you had in the workshops at GBSEx. It took a while but the results have now been correlated and all the teachers have been sent their respective feedback along with any additional comments you made (anonymously). We have found the feedback invaluable in getting an overview of your favourite classes and how we might improve our service next year and the response from teachers has been extremely positive, we hope even more of you use the feedback system next year.... we really are listening!

Guinness World Record Attempt @ GBSEx

The most dance spins by a couple in one minute

We’re thrilled to announce that we think not one, but three couples, actually broke the record although we are waiting on the offical authentication from Guinness.

Lisa from Con Tambor and Giles from Ignite smashed the 113 spins in a minute achieving 125 spins!

As soon as we have verification we'll let you know, in the meantime thanks to all who participated and special thanks to Mel C and Steve Bridger for organising, recording and presenting the attempt.
